Mr. Badger

Words.  They are unimaginably powerful.  I have been teaching students at Washington Intermediate School for the past seven years to use words wisely and effectively, and this year I am excited to join the Dinuba High School team.  I am originally from Hollister, CA, and I earned my bachelor's degree and teaching credential from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.  Since graduating, I have honed my teaching skills, taking part in all number of professional developments.  On campus, I have been involved in PBIS, AVID, Step Up Club, and the group of teacher-leaders called The Programmers.  I was also honored with two awards during the 2015-16 school year: nominated to represent Dinuba by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation at ECET2 as well as nominated as a Teacher of the Year finalist for Dinuba Unified School District.  I am honored to work where I do and be able to impact young lives each and every day.  Outside the classroom, you will find me spending time with my wife and two young daughters, reading books, playing drums in my church's worship team, or spending time hiking in the Sierras.
