My name is Mrs. Montejano. I've been teaching at Washington Intermediate School since 2010 and have been a teacher since 2004. My husband is Mr. Montejano, who teaches 8th Grade ELA and Spanish at WIS. We have a son, Matthew, who is 5 and a daughter, Gabriella, who is 3. My favorite hobby is soap and bath-bomb making. This summer we spent a lot of time swimming at home and doing fun projects. My goal is to have everyone pass Science 7 and love learning this year. I am here to help you have a great middle school experience.

My favorite part of being a teacher is getting to know students and their families and helping build future plans for success while supporting the best possible present. One piece of advice that I have for students is to speak up for yourself as a learner. Reach out and ask for what you need. Do not be afraid to try and fail. FAIL = First Attempt At Learning. Failure is not the opposite of success-it is part of success.
