    Roosevelt Ram Behind the Desk

    Megan Rupe, Roosevelt Ram alumnus, just completed her first official day behind the news desk at CBS47. Roosevelt staff and students are very proud of Megan's accomplishments in televised media. You may know her dad Mr. Rupe, who teaches 5th grade in Room 26. Not too long ago, they used to work together to produce videos on the importance of being a good student. In Megan's case, her love for reading and writing has taken her into the professional world of journalism.

    Over the weekend we had some talented little elves from the Roosevelt Girl's Club, led by Erin Montes, represent our school in the Dinuba Christmas Parade. A big Roosevelt 'thank-you' to all the participating elves, big and small, who brought their smiles and decorating skills for this uniquely LightBright event.

    On December 16, the Jolly Trolley and its elves from the North Pole made their way around Dinuba visiting all the local elementary schools. The Choices and City Afterschool programs in conjunction with the Dinuba Chamber of Commerce were sponsoring the 'Stuff the Trolley' food drive.

    This year at Roosevelt, we have a very special Ram in need of prayers and support. His story can be found in the 'Announcements' section of the Roosevelt home page. It is this particular story that spurred a group of law enforcement to take matters into their own hands. Dinuba police officers would work together and exemplify the true spirit of civic servants.

    Mrs. Tuttle's 4th grade students have been awarded AGAIN! Her students have received national recognition for winning not only one Read to Succeed Contest, but two!
