Interquest Detection Canines
Interquest Detection Canines
The District works with Interquest Detection Canines, a service that utilizes non-aggressive contraband detection canines. Visits are unannounced and are conducted at all of our intermediate and high school sites. The dogs are trained to detect all commonly abused drugs, alcoholic beverages, firearms, ammunition, and prescription and over-the-counter medication. Searches are conducted in communal areas, lockers, gym areas, parking lots, automobiles, grounds, and other select areas as directed by site administrators who escort handlers and their dogs throughout the campus. The dogs have been well-received at all our secondary sites and have played a vital role in providing a safe school environment.
