Trustee Boundary Information

TRUSTEE BOUNDARY REDISTRICTING PROCESS 2021-2022

*UPDATE:  Thank you to everyone for your participation in this process.  After public input, the Governing Board voted to approve the "Green Map" on January 13, 2022.

Every ten (10) years, after the release of the US census data, the Dinuba Unified School District updates the trustee election area maps.   Please note that this redistricting process does not affect student elementary attendance boundaries.  Those maps are not changing at this time.   Community members are encouraged to participate in this process.    If you would like to share comments regarding the trustee boundaries, we encourage you to attend the board meetings listed below, or email the Superintendent's Secretary at ckaljuma@dinuba.k12.ca.us.   Please type "Trustee Boundary Redistricting" in the subject line of your email.

Please come back to this page to see the presentations and draft maps, as they become available.

The planned schedule of events:

Thursday, November 18, 2021 -    6:00 p.m.

The Board of Trustees will receive information from National Demographics Corporation (NDC) regarding the 2020 Census and how it relates to the District’s Trustee Areas.   The District is required to review the latest Federal Census data to determine whether existing trustee areas are population balanced. (Ed. Code § 5019.5.) The information received from NDC will be the basis for potential trustee area adjustments to be considered by the Board at subsequent meetings.  Please check the board meetings page for the zoom link details.
