My classroom is 85% online curriculum and 15% other projects and assignments. Each student will progress through a course designed specifically for them, but with some classwide universal requirements. Each day students will collect their notebook, check out a chromebook and select a seat that gives them the maximum opportunity to succeed. After logging into their online account the student will enter their starting Course Complete by Count Percentage and their Current Grade into their Daily Log, located in their notebook. Throughout the course students will listen to lessons, fill out thier Guided Notes, try example problems, complete assinments and take quizzes and exams. Progression in the course is based on the individual students ability to, successfully, complete all required assignments and quizzes for that particular unit. Mr. Coats is always available to clarify, instruct and guide students through their course work.
My PE classroom is a blend of Health Information, Stretches, Exercises, and Activities or Games. Participation is Key to Success! You don't have to be a great athlete. All I ask you to do is TRY and have fun.
Honesty, Trustworthiness, Hard Work and Integrety are a must for my class. I expect my students to represent themselves as respectable young adults.
