Mrs. Tara Bustamante

I was born and raised in Kingsburg, California and attended Kingsburg Elementary Schools. It was there that I fell in love with school and with learning! I graduated from Kingsburg High School in 2010.

I attended California State University, Fresno from 2010-2014 to earn my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. While I was working on my degree here, I worked as an After School Program leader for CHOICES (in Dinuba and Traver), and as an RSP Paraprofessional (in Kingsburg). At this time in my learning I was so interested in learning how children learn! I focused on teaching exceptional learners.

After that, I began pursuing my teaching credential at Fresno Pacific University. In a period of two years, I learned as a student teacher in Dinuba Unified (at Kennedy Elementary) and also as an intern teacher at the Valley Arts and Science Academy in Fresno. During this time, I worked hard to create lessons that were exciting, fun, and the right amount of difficulty to challenge and support students!

Now as a third grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary, I am excited to learn so many things. In my classroom, we use technology, complete group projects, think creatively, and reason critically. I challenge students to reach high levels of personal success everyday!
