Dinuba Unified School District

Ending Generational Poverty Through Education

  • DUSD "Foggy Day" Information

During the "Foggy Day" season, we would like to share some important reminders regarding any day that is officially determined by authorized district personnel to warrant a "Foggy Day" schedule:

    • Typically, there will be a 1-hour delay for bus pick-up and the start of the school day.
    • Elementary students are not to be dropped off before 8:30am.
    • Secondary students are not to be dropped off before 8:00am.
    • Breakfast will be served to all students upon arrival.

Notifications of when a "Foggy Day" schedule is in effect will be communicated to all DUSD staff and parents via Blackboard voice and text messages, alerts on the district website and DUSD Facebook page, and local TV and radio stations.
